To Prevent Falls in Construction

Every industry must be aware of fall risks and take steps to prevent injuries. Whether your workplace has ladders or scaffolding, slippery surfaces or even stairs, all employees need to know what the risks are and how to respond. Join the National Safety Stand-Down to prevent falls in construction.

What is a Safety Stand-down?

Your workplace can volunteer to create a stand-down: an event where employers talk directly to employees about safety risks at work. This event can focus on fall hazards and fall prevention, or you can use it to have a talk about other types of job hazards. Any type of company can participate. The goal of this event is to raise awareness about safety hazards and start a productive conversation about how to protect workers.
