Whether your workplace has ladders or scaffolding, slippery surfaces or even stairs, all employees need to know what the risks are and how to respond. Join the National Safety Stand-Down to prevent falls in construction.

What is a Safety Stand-down?

Your workplace can volunteer to create a stand-down: an event where employers talk directly to employees about safety risks at work. This event can focus on fall hazards and fall prevention, or you can use it to have a talk about other types of job hazards. Any type of company can participate. The goal of this event is to raise awareness about safety hazards and start a productive conversation about how to protect workers.
