NIU Law has consistently strong employment statistics for each graduating class, while providing vital resources for your career placement and long-term job satisfaction.
Employment Success and Career Building Support
NIU has had consistently strong employment outcomes in recent years, with nearly 90% of the class of 2017 employed or pursuing an advanced degree. Due to the small size of our student body, the Office of Career Opportunities and Professional Development staff can provide students and alumni with more personalized insight into, and awareness of a wide-range of career options. Extensive one-on-one counseling is offered to students and alumni to help them in the selection of suitable employment opportunities. In addition to personal appointments with students, the Director of Career Opportunities assists students with resume preparation, job search strategy, and interviewing skills, equipping students and alumni as they pursue their career path.
NIU Law offers unique and innovative clinical experiences and externships to equip you with practical experiences for your entry into the profession and the successful practice of law.
Networking Events with Alumni and Extensive Attorney Connections
