Summer At NIU

Camp more. Worry less.

Process and Availability

Process

Step 1: Please contact the Reservations and Event Management Office (REMO) regarding your summer program request. REMO will work to determine that our facilities and/or campus housing are available and can accommodate your needs.

Step 2: REMO will help your organization arrange for campus housing and meals (plus available meeting or recreation spaces, transportation services and parking, if required) in accordance with university policies and practices.

Step 3: With a signed agreement by both parties in place, you will be required to guarantee your counts for the number of people who will stay in the residence hall housing, and for the number of meals required, 21 days before arrival.

Step 4: A rooming list is due seven to ten days before arrival based on group size and day of check in.

Step 5: Upon arrival, groups' activities will be assisted by NIU staff, from check in to check out, to answer questions and ensure delivery of NIU facilities and services as contracted.

Step 6: NIU will invoice for charges after the program is over and include all services and fees on one bill.

Dates

Availability for summer housing is determined by the current NIU academic calendar. Priority is given to NIU-sponsored programs or activities. Please contact Reservations and Event Management Office (REMO) for current availability.
