Lin Zhu's AI-related research examines how students and educators understand, adopt, and use generative AI in teaching and learning, with a focus on student success, institutional support, ethical use and educator preparation. One strand of her work investigates undergraduate students’ generative AI use in higher education, including how institutional culture, curriculum integration and support influence technology acceptance, confidence, stress and responsible use. Another strand explores how AI can support early childhood and special education teacher preparation, professional learning and inclusive practices for diverse learners. Across her work, she aims to bridge educational innovation and practical implementation to inform teaching, policy and support systems for students, educators and families.
