SELECTION OF COMMITTEE MEMBERS AND CHAIR

1. A chair or the procedure for obtaining a chair of the standing committees is designated in the Bylaws of the Constitution and Bylaws.



2. Members of each standing committee, with the exception of the University Council Personnel Committee, shall be appointed by the executive secretary of the University Council with the advice and consent of the University Faculty Senate or the University Council as so designated in the Bylaws. Members of the University Council Personnel Committee are selected according to the established bylaw procedure.
