In order to ensure fairness and compliance, the established guidelines are applied consistently to all students, we must adhere to the publishes requirements without exception.
The NIU student health insurance plan is through UHCSR and is a PPO.

Policy, ID cards, Provider Search
Insurance cards (ID's) are not emailed to students. Students must print them off from their account through UHCSR.
NIU has collaborated with Benefit Partners Group to provide dental, vision, and telehealth coverage to NIU students. They also offer short-term coverage if you are no longer an NIU student.
