Summer/Fall 2013 Registration Information


Summer/Fall 2013 Course Offerings will be online for viewing on MyNIU as the departments make them available. A printable Schedule of Classes is also available in PDF format.

Registration for Summer/Fall 2013 begins the week of April 1, 2013. Students will be assigned registration appointments mid-March 2013. Registration appointments are assigned based on the number of cumulative hours. Beginning mid-March, students may check MyNIU for their appointment day and time. Students may register on or after the assigned appointment day and time as long as there are not any holds assigned to their record. All new undergraduate students are allowed to register after meeting with an academic advisor following their orientation session (providing the appointment day and time has been reached).

April 3, 2013 Post Baccalaureate Students with 0-999.99 Hours
April 3, 2013 Undergraduate students with 120-999.99 Hours
April 4, 2013 Undergraduate students with 90-119.99 Hours
April 5, 2013 Undergraduate students with 60-89.99 Hours
April 8-9, 2013 Undergraduate students with 30-59.99 Hours
April 10, 2013 Undergraduate students with 0-29.99 Hours
April 11, 2013 All Students-at-Large with 0-999.99 Hours
April 12, 2013 Open Enrollment Begins (No registration appointment needed)
  • Visiting students will be allowed to register beginning April 12.
  • Students should check MyNIU for negative service indicators that may impact registration.
  • All new undergraduate students are allowed to register after meeting with an academic advisor following their orientation session (providing the appointment day and time has been reached).
