Commencement

COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Response

Out of concern for the health and safety of all members of the Huskie community, we will be following COVID-19 safety guidelines and the Restore Illinois Plan, and will NOT be hosting an in-person commencement ceremony in December.

Virtual ceremony times are listed below with information to register if you prefer to watch with your friends and families and have a live chat option with faculty and staff from your college. If you do not register and/or prefer to watch after the scheduled ceremony times, you will be able to access them via YouTube and we will update the website with those links no later than Monday, December 14.

We want to assure you, we will continue to keep in touch after fall 2020 commencement to invite all graduates back for an in-person commencement when we are able to bring large groups back to campus. Please make sure to update your personal email in the MyNIU and keep checking your student email and the website to keep updated.
