Student Employment
Part-time jobs for students provide a valuable work experience and help to offset the costs of attending school. While attending NIU, a student may work on campus up to 20 hours per week. Employment opportunities are frequently available for students who demonstrate financial need through the College Work-Study Program.
NIU also helps students secure internships and full-time employment by offering job and internship fairs, career counseling, résumé and cover letter reviews, and an online job search database.
