Brandon T. Lagana

Brandon T. Lagana, Ed.D. is the Director of Marketing & Information Resource Management for Career Services. Dr. Lagana’s primary job responsibility is to coordinate marketing and promotion of Career Services’ offerings to current and prospective NIU students, employers, and alumni. In addition, he provides technical and operations support for the office. Prior to working in Career Services, Lagana’s professional background is in college admission. For more than 17 years, he worked in a variety of roles to recruit high school-aged and transfer students, and adult learners. In addition, he was able to forge strong relationships with school counselors and community college advisors.

Lagana holds an Ed.D. in Adult, Higher and Community Education; and a master’s degree in Student Personnel Administration in Higher Education. He is able to utilize effectively his expertise in developing students and educational marketing to tell Career Service’s stories to attract students and help Huskies Get Hired!
