Wellness Classes

Recreation Services offers a variety of instructional wellness classes in the following areas:

  • Weight Management 101
  • Private Classes:  Fitness and Wellness

Weight Management 101

Sessions will include one-on-one time with a dietitian or nutrition intern; time with a personal trainer; and interactive group sessions for motivation, discussion, and strategy development about weight management success techniques.

  • Week 1:  Kick Off
  • Week 2:  One-On-One Assessment
  • Week 3:  Success Techniques
  • Week 4:  Success Techniques
  • Week 5:  Success Techniques
  • Student Recreation Center Nutrition Office
  • Minimum 8 participants.

Private TEAM Classes

Fitness and Wellness    

Team building is one of the hottest trends in enhancing a group's performance.  Participate in a fitness workout, wellness session, or a cooking class exclusively for your group or organization!  Our fitness instructors, personal trainers, or nutrition staff will lead a private, semester-long session or a one-time class in the format of your choice...just for you adn your friends!  Class times and formats will be scheduled on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Formats include but are not limited to:

  • Yoga
  • Kickboxing
  • Stress Management
  • Cooking
  • Personal Fitness
  • Stretching
    and more!

  • Private classes begin the week of August 23rd.
  • Cost depends on the type of session, number of sessions requested, and group size.
