How to Upload & Publish to the NIU Résumé Book

As a graduate of NIU you may access to the Huskies Get Hired! system to (1) Upload their their resumes and (2) Publish them to the "Alumni Resume Review" resume book.  The instructions below will guide you through these two steps.

Instructions for alumni are located on the HGH log-in page (right-hand column in the middle of the page).


1. Upload Your Résumé

Note: A Career Services representative will respond within 10 working days.

  1. After logging in to the Huskies Get Hired! system, click on the Documents tab (located in the menu banner at the top of the page) and select the Upload A Document link from the drop-down menu.

  2. Then select the resume option and press Next.

  3. On the next screen, press Browse. After selecting your resume file, press Upload.  

2. Publish Your Résumé

  1. Click on the “Documents” tab  (located in the grey menu banner at the top of the page) and then select the “Publish a Resume” link from the drop-down menu.

  2. On the next screen’s list of Résumé Books, locate the resume book, "Alumni Resume Review."

  3. Click on the drop-down menu and select your appropriate résumé. Click “Save.”  

  4. Your résumé now is published and member of Career Services will email you within 10 working days.
