OneCard ID Services

OneCard ID Services provides identification card service for the NIU community and issues the official IDs for students and NIU personnel. We also manage NIU’s designated debit card system, Huskie Bucks. Only students, faculty, staff and retirees are eligible to obtain a OneCard ID.
New Mobile OneCard ID
Your OneCard is now mobile and available to use in your Apple Wallet, Google Wallet, or Samsung Wallet! Submit your photo, download the mobile ID app, and find answers to common questions about what the Mobile OneCard ID can do for you. Please allow up to 24 hours for your Mobile OneCard to activate. In the meantime, we recommend keeping your physical OneCard with you.
Optional Preferred Name
NIU uses a preferred/ proper name option on the OneCard ID for students, faculty and staff.
