Student Administrative Systems Support

NIU’s Division of Information Technology (DoIT) implements, maintains and supports NIU’s core student administration system, PeopleSoft Campus Solutions.  Peoplesoft Campus Solutions is also known as the MyNIU Student System.

PeopleSoft Campus Solutions is a software suite that helps higher education institutions manage student records, financial aid, and more.  This application performs the following functions.

  • Enables students to register for classes, pay bills, view financial aid, and update their personal data
  • Organize student records, advising, course enrollment, and streamlines administrative tasks
  • Processes financial aid and manages student financial accounts, including tuition, fees, and scholarships
  • Tracks the requirements and policies that a student must satisfy to graduate

 

Request for Access

The following access is granted to the MyNIU Student System automatically and does not need be specifically requested:

  • Students are granted access to self-service.
  • Faculty and advisors are given faculty and/or advisor roles.

FERPA training is required before Student Administrative system access is granted.
