Hello, my name is Nicholas Bender and I am the Director of Governmental Affairs for the Student Association. You can contact me at Nbender1@niu.edu I am a junior this year and I am looking forward to working in this position. I became interested in the director position after becoming a NIU senator last year, where I was part of a group of students who could really have an impact on campus. I found that I really liked to be involved and this job is the way I plan on staying involved. I am also involved in other organizations on campus; I am part of the Business Administration Student Association, The College of Business Deans Student Advisory Board. I am also heavily involved in Junior Achievement on campus and the DeKalb and surrounding areas. My goal is simple and it is this: To Have The Biggest Positive Impact On NIU’s Campus That I Possibly Can. (Period)
