Paul Julion is a junior Physical Education major here at Northern Illinois University. He is from the southwest area of Chicago. He graduates from Hubbard High School. This year he will serve as the Director of Athletics and Recreation from the Student Association for the 2012-2013 academic school year. He got involved with Student Association his freshmen year second semester as a Senator for District 2. He then again served in his sophomore year in District 2 and as a Mass Transit Committee member. Since his freshmen year he wanted to be the Director of Athletics and Recreation. He has big aspirations for being an Athletic Director. Julion thinks my first chance to make an impact for my future career.

Former Student Association Director of Athletics and Recreation, former Student Association President and now Student Trustee Elliot Echols is a big reason Julion is here. He mentored Julion during his freshmen and sophomore year while he was a senator. Former Student Association Treasure Darrel Nelson II also assisted Julion as well.

Besides being the Student Association, he is a part of many organizations, Black Male Initiative, Kinesiology and Physical Education Club, Succeed and Success Plan(S-Plan) Mary F. English Technology scholar, Lead Guide, NI Guide, Northern Light Ambassador for the College of Education Vice-President of Athletics for RED Riot, and Vice-President for the ARROGANT Epsilon Phi Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Incorporated.
