I joined the Student Association my sophomore year when I was elected as a student senator to serve the 4th district. I immediately realized I wanted to stay apart of the Student Association until I graduate from NIU. I enjoy helping the student body, especially listening to the student voice and then putting together an action plan to make the necessary change, big or small. My second passion is advertising. I love to work with different small business to help them promote their product. I am very excited to incorporate two new products I plan to offer the businesses of DeKalb this academic year.
I have very high expectations and many goals for this academic year. Not only do I plan on continuing to provide local businesses with the opportunity to promote themselves on the Huskie Bus Line, I also plan to offer new ways for them to reach their target audience. I want to offer advertisement space on the inside of the Huskie busses. With thousands of students riding the bus daily, local business have the perfect opportunity to expose their product to the student body.
Other Involvements: Assistant Advertising Manager for the Northern Star, Treasurer of the Phi Sigma Kappa Fraternity, And member of the Red Riot.
