Show Me the Money!: Finding Funding for Your Research or Other Scholarly Project

OSP will also host its first chat session of the fall semester, Show Me the Money!: Finding Funding for Your Research or Other Scholarly Project, on Tuesday, November 15, 2011, from 12:30 p.m.–1:30 p.m. in the Illinois Room of the Holmes Student Center.

Should I pursue federal grants or foundation funding? What funding is available to support my research? How do I learn about funding opportunities? These are a few of the questions OSP often hears in regards to finding funding for faculty research and scholarly projects. This session is intended to provide insight into these questions and provide an overview of the many different funding sources available. If time permits, this session will also highlight several search engines available to faculty at NIU to look for funding opportunities.

RSVP by Friday, November 11, to Steve Squier at ssquier1@niu.edu.
