Grants.gov, the electronic system used to submit many federal proposals, is experiencing severe delays in submission processing times, especially near and on NIH deadline dates. In extreme cases, submissions have missed deadlines due to these delays and have not been accepted for consideration by funding agencies. Early submission of grants.gov proposals is strongly recommended, at least two days before the agency deadline.
