OSP's chat session for November will be held on Thursday, November 4, from 12:30 - 1:30 p.m. in La Tourette Hall (formerly Faraday West), Room 300. In the past several years, there has been an increased focus on integrating research with education and many sponsors now review the merits of a proposal against these broader impacts. This session, Understanding the Broader Impacts Review Criterion will evaluate the 5 main themes of broader impacts and why they are important. The session will also focus on how major federal sponsors such as NSF, NIH, and DOE define broader impacts.
