What are the requirements to complete the Certificate?
Undergraduate Certificate in LGBT Studies
- Twelve (12) semester hours of course work
- Core Course: ILAS 350: LGBT Studies (offered Spring Semester only)
- Nine (9) credits of electives from approved list of courses
- Students must complete all course work with a grade-point average of at least 2.0 within a period of six consecutive years.

Graduate Certificate in LGBT Studies
- Twelve (12) semester hours of course work
- Core Courses:
- ILAS 550: LGBT Studies (offered Spring Semester only) and
- ILAS 551: Research in LGBT Studies (offered Fall Semester only)
- Six (6) credits of electives from approved list of courses
- Students must complete all course work with a grade-point average of at least 3.0 within a period of six consecutive years.
