Plan B emergency contraception

The FDA has approved the Plan B emergency contraceptive pill to be distributed as a non-prescription medication. Students 17 yrs or older who are eligible to use the Health Services (HS) may now stop by the HS Pharmacy during normal Health Service hours, to purchase Plan B at a cost of $40.00 (subject to change). A governmental issued ID (driver's license, state or military ID, passport) must be presented. Please note that the NIU ID does not meet this requirement. Per university policy, cash, check, VISA, or MasterCard payment is required at the time of service.
