Most NIU students (68%) exercise 2 or more hours per week. They exercise in many ways and at many places. Through Recreation Services, students have access to open recreation, fitness classes and personal training; intramurals and sport clubs; and, outdoor rentals and trips.

Nutrition
College is a time when many students are away from home for the first time. This means that they now have the responsibility for selecting their dietary choices more than ever before. Fortunately, there are a variety of resources available to help with these decisions.
