In-State Students
- You will want to look for the academic year of your initial enrollment as an in-state, degree-seeking student at NIU. You will be charged tuition and fees based upon that academic year.
Out-of-State Students
- All out-of-state students will be charged the most current tuition and fees for the university. This amount may change each year you attend NIU.
What is Truth In Tuition?
NIU provides newly enrolled Illinois residents, who are first-time degree seeking undergraduate students, a fixed tuition rate for nine continuous academic terms at NIU.
