Camp and Canoe on the Rock River / Oregon, IL  

Camp Water

Canoeing, camping, and currents, oh my! Spend two days paddling down the beautiful Rock River starting just west of campus in Oregon. We’ll paddle to a campsite only accessible by boat for a relaxing evening and cookout dinner. Wake up Saturday morning for another scenic paddle. Included in the registration fee are transportation, leadership, all meals, and equipment (canoes, paddles, PFDs, dry bag) and camping gear (tent, sleeping bag, and sleeping pad, headlamp).

Camp and Cave at Maquoketa Caves State Park, IA

Camp Rock Hike

Add some great camping fun to an awesome adventure at Maquoketa Caves and you have yourself a great weekend! Get dirty exploring the astonishing 16 limestone caves on your hands and knees. Beyond that, the park is home to a restored prairie and six miles of trails that access the Great sights include the “Natural Bridge”, the 17-ton “Balanced Rock”, and the 1100’ “Dancehall Cave.” Included in the registration fee are leadership, equipment (caving helmet with headlamp and pads), camping gear (tent, sleeping bag and pad, headlamp), all meals, and permits.

Backpack at Yellow River State Forest / Harpers Ferry, IA

Camp Hike

Need an escape from your daily routine? This weekend is for you! Join us backpacking and exploring the Yellow River State Forest in Iowa. We will be spending time in the Paint Creek Unit, which is home to over 25 miles of scenic trails rated from easy to moderate difficulty. Although we do recommend at least some prior camping experience, this trip is great for first-time or seasoned backpackers alike! Included in the registration fee is transportation to/from, leadership, all meals, equipment (backpacks, group cook gear, headlamps) and camping gear (sleeping bags, pads, and tents).
