Weekend Ski and Snowboard

This is your opportunity for a weekend getaway. Cascade Mountain is one of the Chicagoland’s favorite ski resorts with 34 runs and 10 lifts including a high-speed detachable quad; they can move a lot of skiers uphill quickly. The resort has four terrain parks with hits, jumps, rails, and two half pipes. Whether you are a beginner or expert, this weekend will give you your fair share the slopes.  Choices for up to 3 days, from Friday night until we leave Sunday afternoon, you can get as much as you want from the hill. Receive one-on-one instruction (compare to a 1 hour lesson valued at $60). At the end each day, go back to a warm cabin filled with new friends and laughter. Included in the registration fee are transportation in University vans, 3-day lift ticket, ski/snowboard instruction by experienced NIU Trip Leaders, 2-night lodging at a rental property on Lake Delton, and all meals (family style breakfast and dinner, and boxed lunch at the slopes).  Equipment rental is not included; you may choose to bring your own or rent new Burton snowboards if they arrive in time from the Adventure Center ($15) or ski or board package from Cascade ($34/day).
