The headquarters for Outdoor Adventures is the Adventure Center located within the Student Recreation Center. The Adventure Center provides outdoor gear rental for sponsored or personal outdoor adventure trips, along with a resource library to assist in helping participants plan their own trips. Individuals or groups that are interested in any of our programs or rentals should visit the Adventure Center during regular business hours or contact us at outdooradventure@niu.edu. Campus Recreation members may enter from the front of the building, or for convenience anyone may access the Adventure Center through a separate entrance located on the west side of the building.
