Visit NIU Admissions

Welcome! You're invited to visit NIU!

We recommend that you start your week-day campus visit to NIU Admissions at the new Barsema Alumni and Visitor Center (231 N. Annie Glidden Road, DeKalb, Illinois). At the center you can purchase a parking pass at the discounted rate of $2.

On Saturdays, September through May, start your visit at the Office of Admissions, 101 Williston Hall, on the DeKalb, Illinois campus. 

Note:                                                                                                                                                            Saturday Visits Summer Closure:

  • Saturday visits and tours are available through May 17, 2008. 
  • After May 17, the NIU Admissions Office will be closed on Saturdays for the summer.
  • Saturday visits and tours will resume on Saturday, September 6, 2008.

Summer Hours:

  • Beginning June 9th, 2008 the Barsema Alumni and Visitor Center and the Office of Admissions in Williston Hall will be open Mondays through Thursdays with extended hours from 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. 
  • The Barsema Alumni and Visitors Center and the Office of Admissions in Williston Hall will be closed on Fridays.
