NIU Out-of-State Huskie Scholarship:
For new undergraduate students from Indiana, Iowa, Missouri, and Wisconsin.
Northern Illinois University is committed to enrolling talented and diverse students. To further that committment, NIU is excited to announce the NIU Out-of-State Huskie Scholarship -- available to fall 2013 incoming, undergraduate students from Indiana, Iowa, Missouri, and Wisconsin. This scholarship will be awarded to academically qualified students who exhibit strong academic performance and potential.
NIU offers a wide variety of highly ranked academic programs at an affordable cost. The NIU Out-of-State Huskie Scholarship gives high-achieving students the opportunity to reduce tuition costs even more. Funds are limited and will be awarded on a rolling basis, so apply to NIU online today! Students will be considered for the NIU Out-of-State Huskie Scholarship as well as academic scholarships based on their application for admission.
The scholarship is valued at $9,466 for the 2013-2014 academic year. The scholarship is renewable for up to four years provided the recipients remain enrolled full-time and maintain a minimum 2.75 cumulative grade point average at NIU. The total value of the scholarship is $37,864 over four years at current tuition rates.
Students may wish to pursue a change to Illinois residency; however, this scholarship is not applicable toward in-state tuition rates. This scholarship is only valid for students who choose to remain permanent residents of their home state.
