Summer Day Camps

Session 1 – Bird Camp for Littles 

Campers will learn about birds, migration, and how to help birds in a hands-on way! Camp will start at 12:00 pm and end at 4:30 pm.

  • Ages: 5-6
  • Dates: June 15-19, 2020
  • Fee: $70
  • Other Information: Lunch and snack will be provided 

Session 2 – CIT Training Camp 

This camp is for 13-17 year-olds who are interested in being a junior counselor! Campers will attend a morning session to learn how to teach a game or do a craft, and then will help the Lorado Taft staff in the afternoon with the 5-6 year-olds at the Bird Camp. Camp will start at 8:30 am and end at 4:30 pm.

  • Ages: 13-17
  • Dates: June 15-19, 2020
  • Fee: $115 for the first child and $90 for any subsequent children in the family
  • Other information: Breakfast and lunch are included and early drop off and late pick up will be available for an additional fee

Session 3 - Zombie Survival Camp  

Campers will build their own hideouts, learn to survive in the wild and play a zombie-inspired tag game!  They will also become zombies and stumble through the woods looking for brains! Camp will start at 8:30 am and end at 4:30 pm, with the exception of Friday, which will end at 2:00 pm. Families are invited to lunch and a presentation on Friday.

  • Ages: 7-12
  • Dates: July 6-10, 2020
  • Fee: $115 for the first child and $90 for each subsequent child in the family
  • Other information: Fee includes breakfast and lunch. Early drop-off and late pick-up are available for an additional fee. 

Session 2 – Water Camp 

Campers will understand why water is so important, have a water play day, and learn about the Pacific garbage patch! Camp will start at 8:30 am and end at 4:30 pm, with the exception of Friday, when we will end at 2:00 pm. Families are invited to lunch and a presentation on Friday.

  • Ages: 7-12
  • Dates: August 3-7, 2020
  • Fee: $115 for the first child and $90 for each subsequent child in the family
  • Other information: Fee includes breakfast and lunch. Early drop-off and late pick-up are available for an additional fee.
