2024-2027 Strategic Plan

The Psychology Department strategic planning process occurred in three phases during October 2023—January 2024. Each phase included an asynchronous activity followed by an in-person meeting.

Phase 1: Mission, Vision and Values/Identifying Priority Themes

Phase 2: Objectives, Outcomes and Targets

Phase 3: Refining Objectives/Planning Activities and Assessment

The process involved stakeholders from the following groups: tenured/tenure-track faculty, full-time instructors, office staff, staff from the Psychological Services Center (PSC), staff from the animal colony, graduate students, and undergraduate students. These stakeholders were involved in all three phases of the strategic planning process. Stakeholders will also lead the action plans, monitoring, and assessment of objectives during the strategic planning period. Activities to support the objectives will be planned by committees during the spring semester of 2024 and implemented during the fall of 2024.
