The NIU Collaborative on Early Adolescence (NIU-CEA) supports young adolescent learning and development in the academic, social, emotional, health, cultural, and civic areas. NIU-CEA engages university, school, and community partners to understand shared needs, identify resources, and solve problems.

Andrea Karpati, a visiting Rhoades scholar, and Charles Myers, a professor of counseling, will be speaking October 29th from 2 to 3 pm in room 406 of the Holmes Student Center. Both experts use forms of art in counseling situations to better understand the perspectives of adolescents.
