Biological experience gained in a formal internship or associated with biologically relevant employment internships are valuable educational experiences that enhance your academic program by providing hands-on experiential learning opportunities outside of the classroom.

Earning Academic Credit in BIOS 490

To receive credit in BIOS 490, Cooperative Education and Internship, you must gain prior approval from the director of undergraduate studies.

  • Complete a minimum of 150 hours of contact time is required.
  • Students will be required to submit a formal written report along with an assessment form from the internship supervisor. S/U grading
