What is the best thing about being a scholarship recipient?
It is an honor to be recognized for the service and dedication I have shown in my area of study.
What are your personal and professional goals?
For now, I plan on attending graduate school to pursue my interest in voter psychology and partisan identification. In the future, I would love to support a politician or a committee as a member of their staff.
What are your suggestions for students looking for scholarships?
Strive for both an excellent academic record and work ethic. Be committed to doing well in school, but also get involved with what you are interested in, and show that you are willing to dedicate your time to help and learn.
What is the best thing about being an NIU Huskie?
Being able to receive an excellent education that is close to home, and also having access to opportunities I would not have encountered at any other school, like the Congressional Internship Program.
