What are your personal and professional goals?

I plan to pursue my Masters as a Physician Assistant at Duke or Midwestern University.

What are your suggestions for students looking for scholarships?

To be persistent in applying for all scholarships you are qualified to receive, to get input on your essays and applications (more eyes are better than two), and to not be discouraged by rejection because it will pay off at some point. I frequently visit the NIU Scholarship Office and various scholarship websites.

What is the best thing about being an NIU Huskie?

Being a part of this supportive academic environment. I feel the faculty and staff at NIU have contributed immensely to my academic success by sharing resources, being available for questions, and encouraging me in the presence of challenges. Being a Huskie will be a part of the rest of my life!
