Q-Connect peer mentor program The Q-Connect peer mentor program is now accepting applications for new mentors for the 2012-2013 academic year! Q-Connect Mentors connect online with students who have questions about gender, sexuality and other LGBT related topics. To apply, head to the Q-Connect site, download our application, and complete it by 4:30 on March 9th. The LGBTRC celebrates Black Heritage Month with, "Seeing the Future from our Past: Black and gay in history" Join the LGBT Resource Center in this look at prominent black gay leaders, writers, and activists in history. Learn the stories of these uncompromising individuals and how they impact both the anti-racism and LGBTQ equality movements today. Study Abroad for LGBTQA! Are you an LGBTQ student interested in studying abroad? Have any special concerns because of your sexual/gender identity? Don't worry, you are not alone! Come learn how to approach and handle some of these issues in a collaboration with the Study Abroad Office on February 23rd at 12pm in the Holmes Student Center Heritage Room.
