Illinois College Student Immunization Act (110-ILCS 2) and University policy states: All students born on or after January 1, 1957, enrolling in class at the NIU DeKalb campus are required to provide written evidence of immune status with respect to certain communicable diseases or evidence of exemption from this requirement.
All F-1 students at NIU are required to purchase and maintain Health Insurance while studying in the U.S.
