Hi all, my name is Peter. I am a 24 year old student starting graduate school in mathematics this August. I am completely new to the area and I am super excited about this program. I am planning to live in an off-campus apartment not too far away from the university, either two-bedroom or a three-bedroom. I am still in the process of searching for housing and my budget limit (rents including all utilities) should be below $500/month. I am looking for a quiet, considerate, financially independent roommate regardless of gender, race, sexual orientation, religion, or cultural background, although I slightly prefer native speakers or someone who is a Christian. He or she should not smoke, do drugs, or party at late night. He or she should be able to take care of their personal hygience, finish dishes in time, and respect other people's privacy. I am a very considerate and clean person, and I am very quiet at night. I studied economics and mathematics while I was in college but I am also extremely into world literature, history, and outdoor activities. Hi, my name is Grace. I am a doctoral student. I am pretty easy to get along with. Once I leave the apartment in the morning, the earliest I get back is 9:00pm. My roommate graduated this May hence leaving her room vacant. I live in a two bedroom apartment, very fairly priced. And if you choose to come and live with me you will have the advantage of paying an old price instead of the current price since I have lived in the apartment for the last 3 years. In fact, if one is desperate about moving in immediately, one can make arrangements with my former roommate since although she has left her lease is still on until July 25th. The rent includes all utilities except for electricity and internet. The apartment is a 10 minute walk from campus and there are three college buses that pass by after every 10-15 minutes. Hello, I am a 26 year old gay male who is seeking a room mate for off campus housing. The reason I mention my sexuality is that I have a long time boyfriend who will likely visit once to twice a week, and I don't want to room with anyone who may potentially have a problem with that. I do not smoke, and as I have asthma and allergies, and do not wish to have a room mate who smokes. I drink, but am quiet, clean, and do not party / anticipate on having guests other than my boyfriend on any regular basis, and am seeking someone similar whether they be male or female, heterosexual, or homosexual.
It would be great to room with someone who has similar hobbies / interests. I am very interested in video games, and working out, so a gym buddy / video gamer would be well recieved.
I will be transfering as a Junior, and expect to graduate by 2014, and it would be nice if I could meet up with a potential roommate first. I am interested in off-campus housing at these two locations: http://www.masonproperties.com/

I anticipate that most weekends I will not be in the apartment as I will either be visiting friends / family during these times due to the fact that they live within driving distance.

Two bedroom one bathroom apartment is for sublet until August 2012. NIU Bus route 2 comes by every 1/2 hour during weekdays, every hour on weekends. Five minutes walk in Schnucks grocery. As a NIU visiting researcher, my family and I lived in this apartment for one year. This apartment is located at 807 W. Taylor Street, which is a safe, quiet, beautiful and convinient place. Laundry is in each building. The original rental is $675 per month including heat, water and garbage removing, additional you only need to pay the electric which is about $20 to $30 per month. If my new job is not far away from DeKalb, we would not want to move out from this apartment, we love this place very much. To encourage this subleasing, we would like to give some discount for the new tenant, please contact me for detail.
The new tenants need to submit application and sign contract with the leasing office. I'm sorry that pets are not allowed. The lease office requires first month and last month rent, and one month rate security deposit. We have already move out from the apartment, so it is available now.

I am a 20 year old college student that goes to NIU. I know it's extremely early, but I am looking for one or two roommates to move in to a three bed room apt with me for next school year (August 2012). The kitchen and carpets are newly remodeled and I believe the bathroom is also being remodeled. The apt is located on Hillcrest and has three bedrooms and one bath. Rent all together is $740 so if it was just two people living it would be $370 and three people would be $250. SUPER CHEAP!
I am easy to get along with and committed to my studies. On the weekends I do enjoy going out with friends and having a good time as well. I am a huge animal lover and I have a big dog (50 lb) that would be living with us too. My dog Tip is the biggest baby ever and very well trained. If you like dogs you'll loveee him!
