Overnight Operations Student Attendant

Student employees in this role are responsible for making sure student residents tap their OneCards during the hall's check-in hours (10 p.m. to 6 a.m.). Other tasks include checking in residents' guests and reporting any unusual activity to their residence hall director or community advisor. Shift times during the week are from 11 p.m. to 3 a.m. Student staff are trained using the NIU Guest Registration system.

Job Duties

• Remain at your designated post throughout your shift. (Front desk of residence hall entrance)
• Respect and demonstrate proper radio protocol.
• Be respectful to residents, guests, and fellow staff and employee members.
• Assist and check in resident's guests.
• Report any altercations or disputes, such as a refusal to check in, to your supervisor.

Starting Pay Rate

$15 per hour.
