Making Healthy Decisions Around Alcohol, Tobacco, & Other Drugs:

If you are looking for a speaker to talk about making healthy decisions, you have come to the right place. We discuss with the group why people choose to drink or use drugs, and if they choose to, how it can be done in a safer manner. Additionally, we can discuss how to help a friend who may have had too much to drink or how to successfully become a non-smoker. Tips on finding and accessing resources and information available on and off campus are also provided.

Are you a CA looking to complete an alcohol program or bulletin board for your floor? Stop by the Resource Center for Programming in Lincoln Hall to find many different games, activities, and bulletin boards created by the Positive Alcohol Messages Committee and ready for you to use! We can even send someone from Health Enhancement to run the program, co-present with you, or answer any questions students have regarding alcohol use or misuse after the program.

Suggested Length: 10 minutes - 1 hour depending on the activity
