Student Financial Aid

Cooperative Education

Cooperative Education is a great option for students who are having difficulty financing their education. Cooperative Education allows the student to work and attend class during alternating terms. When the student is working, there is no financial aid available, unless the student is registered for classes and paying tuition and fees. This includes regular classes as well as internships, independent study and distance education.

During the term that the cooperative education student is working, Registration and Records will show that the student is enrolled full-time for enrollment verification, student loan deferments and coverage by a parent’s health insurance program.
