QUALIFICATIONS AND APPLICATION PROCEDURES
Candidates shall have completed their course work in psychology, including at least 900 supervised practicum hours and have institutional approval for internship placement by the beginning date of the internship. Candidates should submit the standard APPIC Application for Psychology Internship (AAPI). Download the AAPI.The following materials should be submitted to complete your application:

SELECTION The intern selection committee reviews application materials. After this review, conference phone interviews will be conducted with approximately 36 selected candidates. All applicants will be notified by December 14, 2007 of their status regarding interviews. The CSDC does not have an on-site interview process. Applicants are welcome to visit in order to gather more information about the site, but the intern search committee does not require such a visit for the selection process. The search committee welcomes phone calls about our training site and our current interns are also available to answer questions. Rankings of candidates are based on a combination of factors including the phone interview, the educational and experiential background of the candidates, and the match between the intern’s goals and what our center has to offer. We participate in the computer match program. Our Program Code Number is 127011. If you have not yet requested an Applicant Agreement form, you can submit the form by clicking here.CSDC adheres to the guidelines established by the Association of Psychology Postdoctoral and Internship Centers (APPIC) for notification of candidates. In addition, this internship site agrees to abide by the APPIC policy that no person at this training site will solicit, accept, or use any ranking-related information from any intern applicant prior to Uniform Notification Day. |
