Amplitude Modulator

In this experiment, a linear integrated circuit is used as an amplitude modulator (AM). Carrier frequency is determined by the timing capacitor and resistor. In AM process, the amplitude of the carrier is affected by the magnitude of the information signal. In this experiment, users can change the information signal by manipulating the connection matrix. The images show the GUI for this experiment. Along with the information signal, users can adjust the sampling rate and the number of samples. Users can view the information signal and the modulated output.
