To help protect the health and safety of everyone, we are only accepting student payments online or by mail. See make a payment for more information. Bursar staff are available by phone and email (Bursar Email Form) to review student accounts and advise on payment options Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. We will respond to your email request within 24 business hours. Additionally, personalized, remote appointments are available with account counselors Mondays and Thursdays through our online appointment app.
The Office of the Bursar provides services and support to NIU students, commercial customers and other NIU departments. Our office processes payments (students and commercial) and refunds as well as offers payment plans and advice regarding your financial situation with NIU.
