Police Community Relations
Police Community Relations (PCRs) are the presentations the NIU Department of Police & Public Safety offer to the public. This is one way we empower our community to recognize risk and avoid potential crime. We have been presenting PCRs since August 1969.
Our typical PCRs are about staying safe and keeping your financial property secure. For your personal safety we suggest walking in groups and staying aware of your surroundings. For financial security we recommend keeping your personal information confidential so you don’t lose your hard-earned money.
