Campus Flag Status

The U.S. flag is flown at half-staff on Memorial Day (until noon) and at the direction of the United States president or a state's governor as a mark of respect to the memory of principal government figures.

Illinois Governor Quinn has issued a proclamation that all state facilities fly the United States flag and the State flag at half-staff during the funeral days of Illinois' fallen.

Governor Quinn has issued a proclamation that the UNITED STATES FLAG and the STATE FLAG should be flown at half-staff beginning at sunrise until noon on Monday, May 28, 2012 on behalf of Memorial Day.
