Tips from Fellow Huskies

Lucy Atkinson

"Career Services has been of extreme help to me feeling more confident in job interviews (which I have to do fairly frequently at the Star), crafting resumes and navigating job sites. Of course, I also owe my student employment to Career Services, so I may be a bit biased, but I genuinely believe the resources there are too often overlooked."

Christopher Lowe

"Stay in touch with your advisor! We really are here to help you navigate your time at NIU. I know sometimes students worry about asking too many questions or being a bother, but I assure you, you're no bother at all! Our whole job is about assisting you, so if we can help in some way, we're always happy to."
