Dear Huskie families,
Whether this is your student's first year at NIU, their last, or somewhere in between, we're excited to have you as a member of our Huskie family. New to Family Connections? Consider this your source for information – including events, programs, resources and tips. We're here to support your student. And you, too! If you missed our first day of school pictures on Facebook, you can view them in our Week of Welcome photo album.

Student Financial Advising Services is an office dedicated to providing comprehensive financial advising. We want you to understand that your investment in your student's education leads to lifelong benefits. We can help you develop a financial plan and navigate the financial processes at NIU, and we can connect you to other support services throughout your student's college journey. We're available to meet virtually, in person, by email or phone. Our team members are LGBTQ+ allies and undocumented student allies. Se habla español.
