Gary Gray Award for Service to the Council

Every year, the Supportive Professional Staff (SPS) Council gives a Gary Gray Award for Service to the Council to a council member. The award recognizes the individual's extraordinary service to the SPS Council and SPS personnel, as well as their contributions to shared governance at NIU.

Any currently serving SPS Council member is eligible for the award. Nominations may be made by current SPS Council members.
