Singh Biome Lab

We are One Heath Initiative enthusiasts. Research in the Singh Lab is focused on assessing the ecology and dynamics of intestinal microbial communities of humans and animals.

The Singh Lab is housed in the Department of Biological Sciences, at Northern Illinois University. We are a group of motivated and dynamic researchers studying the intestinal microbiome and its importance in food-borne infections. We have several ongoing projects with diverse research interests and are open to collaborations to explore the huge world of tiny microbes and their genomes!
